FAQs
This small section is dedicated to Frequently Asked Questions and comments.
The most common question that is asked is: How Does It Work?
So if you're wondering, this section is especially for you.
Emily has formulated a page to help those new to Tarot In The Cty find the answers they're looking for...
"How Do Tarot Cards Work?"
Tarot cards have been in use since the 15th century, some say earlier.
The Tarot cards have long been used as a guide to draw on answers to questions people may have.
I have always found them to be very accurate.
Readings are for guidance/'entertainment' purposes only and any decisions you make are of your own free will.

"How Does It Work Over The Phone?"
With in-person readings, You shuffle and select the cards, asking about your future or about someone else. Those we ask about are not there choosing the cards, yet the cards still respond.
The cards work in the same way over the phone or via video call.. Emily shuffles the cards with you in mind and asks the cards your questions, selecting cards and explaining the response.

"Why Didn't You See That Coming?"
Assumptions that psychics are Nostradamus are incorrect.
There are some things that one can change and some things that one can't. If something is within your control, you have power over it.
No one has control over another person and their decision-making.

"Will I Always Get An Answer?"
We have Tarot cards of indecision, reluctance, and even stagnation.
Put simply: if someone hasn't made their mind up yet, you can ask the cards all you like but there will be no clear outcome.
Is it possible to see clear answers: Yes. But not always, it depends on what it is you're asking.

"You're a psychic, you should know..."
...Unfortunately, this is a comment that I have heard cast upon many psychics.
Psychics work by tuning into someone's energy. Readings work by asking the cards questions.
No single psychic is tuning in to someone's energy every second, it would be incredibly exhausting!
As I say to people: I don't check the cards every time I leave the house. I am human. I live my life!
